They seem to be building Sookie and her brother as a lot more significant as supernatural beings. I guess this is where the show is headed. Posted June 22, 2010 Share Posted June 22, 2010 the author. the sookie stackhouse saga is only a small part of the books. she actually draws heavily on social and political goings on in southern areas. its way more of a mystery than love story though. plus her books came out in 01 while twilight came out in 06... first started reading them in 03 while on a horror gore/supernatural book kick . not gonna say the show doesnt have its "catering to 40 plus fat woman moments" but what it does have is a never ending supply of twists and turns.. /coffee Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

True Blood has some good cliff hangers though, not gonna lie. I love True Blood.
