defer Posted June 17, 2010 Share Posted June 17, 2010 An art degree and strong portfolio will get you into a creative job, but in the long term... if you want to make management or become an art director, you'll get passed over for the guy with his MBA every time. THIS. degree gets you the interview, portfolio gets you the job. from what i've been told by bosses is the only time someone has ever NEEDS a mba is if they want to teach design/art or become anything higher than an art director.
