You actually plan on paying for cable? i know a guy.... but the telephone poles in this neighborhood dont have the rungs on them like most places. so we would need to get a ladder thats 30+ feet which isnt a problem. the problem is transporting it. a 32 ft extension ladder is still 16 ft... so, we would be looking at - paying the cable guy, cost of renting a ladder, finding someone with a truck big enough to help transport it (none of us know someone with such a truck)...or rent a u-hual. $$$ and time. shit has been a pain in the ass. believe me ive been trying to make it work. im ready to throw in the towel. Guest Ginger Bread Man Posted June 19, 2010 Share Posted June 19, 2010 typically when you get cable installed it is installed in 1 or 2 rooms by default<you can specify> any additional sets will set you back 40-50 dlls as a one time fee. you will not pay anything on a month to month basis unlesss of course you go with dish, in which case they wil rape oyu and you wont be able to watch tv on cloudy/rainy/clear/sunny/windy days. this holds true for basic cable however having additional cable boxes usually cost 5-10 dlls a month extra per box.
