CityonSMASH Posted June 9, 2010 Share Posted June 9, 2010 i got no problems with him working as cell block snitch, cause. anyone who thinks rap songs are an actual conversation between themselves and the rapper confessing to all his criminal activity is a fool. but... what i do have a problem with is how he lied about it, how he took his name from a well known florida kingpin, whos apparently getting out of jail soon and how he claimed to be part of some real life cocaine cartell. which was again, false. in fact, from what i read. a bunch of dudes from that clique got nailed pretty heavily and there was a big fbi investigation on everyone apart and associated with its cartell reach. and police very quickly stopped persuing "rick ross" the rapper simply because, he was not a part of the organization and there was zero interest or evidence to suggest he does, or has done anything shady on a large scale. also, i rem,eber a few years back reading a source mag on the plane and how they called him out for that cornball statement he made saying something along the lines of "i need 30million a year just to live, and i dont get it from record sales" they branded it the lamest statement of the year and openly took shots at him, this. was pre corectional officer pic leakage. dudes an outright fraud. and thats just weak.
