Veritably Clean
i don't understand how some people don't know how to swim. and i don't mean like actual swimming with a backstroke and whatever other ones there are. how do you not know how to tread water? it's called doggy paddling for a reason, just watch your dog for 5 seconds. treadin water is kinda like climbing a ladder

Drue_Down
I own a port-O-pong. My pools are chlorine. I had any option when I built the new one, but I have never been in a saline pool, so I opted to stick with what I know. I maintain my new one, I hired a guy to maintain my other house (which I rent to a friend.)
gasfacevictm
I enjoy watching the look in most black peoples eyes when they get near deep water and dogs they don't know. It's hilarious. Spitfire15
I get this.."Yeah man, I can tread water, but not like...swim." How the fuck do you not know how to MOVE AROUND INSIDE WATER?
Drue_Down
^^^ You live on an ocean, which should make you an even better swimmer than backyard pool owners. I never knew anyone with a private pool in Chicago, but we have a lake. You have an ocean. We have Gary, you have Jersey.. so don't come with some chemicals excuse. BadWithNames
i think most australians can swim. its part of the culture also part of the curriculum, i had mandatory swimming lessons pretty much all through primary school. dunno if they still do that. gasfacevictm
Does NYC not have pools? Because they did in that movie Kids. Also, do people in NYC never leave NYC? Because the beach ain't too far from there. If you can't swim and you're an adult without Down's Syndrome or some paralysis, you're a fucking douche. 60% of black children can't swim. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24411271/
FruityLexia.
I can swim, im not fast but i can definetly get shit done in the pool or ocean. When i was in singapore last week, this german girl who was at my hotel kept competing with me to swim under water the whole length of the pool, that shit killed me. dirtydoses
i was just thinking about swimming recently, how can you not know how to swim? i had lessons and all that shit, but it just seems obvious/easy once you know how to do it. i can't imagine what it would be like not knowing how to swim. vanfullofretards
how can you not know how to swim? Whenever I go to the lake everyone I'm with always asks me that same question. I don't fucking know! I took lessons as a kid but then never really swam between age 10-18. So i guess the the mechanics just wore off. I can swim underwater fine, just keeping my head above water and swimming is hard.. i just start to sink hahah It's hard for me to even just lay on my back and float  I'm setting a goal for this summer...... re-learning how to swim... and float. abrasivesaint
i can swim pretty decent. biggest distance i've gone was about a mile - mile 1/2 across a lake. pretty fucking tiring. all activities regarding water are awesome though. bridge jumping cliff jumping rope swings ect..

!@#$%
also, that floating shit can be hard unless you're in salt water. you have to stiffen up and fill your lungs with air to stay buoyant
pissdrunkwhat?!
bridges are great. i have an old faithful but its only like 20 something feet. just enough to have fun though. flips for days. im trying to overcome my fear of gainers, but i dont see that happening.
