SwampFightOner
I just read the original story, it's pretty good. Dude was a really stupid criminal and he knows it, so the story is real authentic, no sounds too good to be true cause it's not type shit
blackboatshoes
Find a small town with only one police station, then light a fire on the side of town furthest from the bank. Rob the bank and live in the woods. watch justified much?

stoopit
Small town jewlery stores are never ready. Bank drops, pizza shop after a bangin friday or saturday night. These low risk robbery will usualy yeild 2500 or more for 5 minutes of work if done right. Even if caught, seeing thats all your charged with, a lawyer could get you less that a year.
CityonSMASH
if I were to try, I would escape thru the sewers then bury the money somewhere for like 5 years then dig it up. sounds a little, messy.

Sounds worth it. $2500 for a year of your life that you would spend in a dump surrounded by idiots in orange jumpsuits. Good plan guy. stoopit
Good lawyer would cost 5000G's just to get that time, unless you get lucky enough to get a good court appointed which is rare. See you 8 months........oontzn from the law libary. I love it when a plan comes together.
gasfacevictm
So, armed robbery nets you maybe $2500. You get nabbed. The money you get from the robbery is confiscated. You need $5000 for a lawyer to get your sentence to be only a year. Don't have the $5000, so you get the C+ student from night law school and end up doing 10 years over $2500 bucks? That's some Art of War style strategery right there. I think I'd get more satisfaction shooting someone over a $10 crack debt.

Cool Water
The christmas just gone someone went round the back of Curry's and took a Bolster chisel to the wall. Made a small hole and broke out with 30k. 6 months later he got caught because he left the barcode of the chisel at the scene of the crime and they traced it back to the store he bought it from, cctv etc. Silly mistakes! francis buxton
Thread title change: "How to Get Caught Robbing a Bank in the 80's" None of what is discribed in this guys story would work today. I know people that have been caught doing dumb shit like this. Like everyones saying, its not worth it. Also, no ones mentioned ink packs, or smoke bombs ect. Now a days you're lucky to get 2 blocks away before you get nabbed.
