I never really sleep much, last night I went to bed at 1am and woke up at 4:30 and am still awake and not tired even after drinkin almost a 12pack its currently 1:30am here eastern time...

I'm not an insomniac i just like being awake really late and then i sleep all day.

I feel like i look exactly like the ffffuuuuuuuu face all thetime. I love to sleep to its one of my most enjoyable times in life.

agreed on enjoying sleep... nothing like it after a long fucking day. and not being able to sleep has to be one of the most frustrating things to deal with.

sometimes i'll just sleep for like 14 to 16 hours for no reason. its great.

i put in a lot of hours of work today and still cant sleep, frustrating yes

 

 

sometimes i'll just sleep for like 14 to 16 hours for no reason. its great.

 

must be nice, fo real

 

They have drugs and alcohol for that

 

 

i just cracked my 12th beer of the night...... still nothing

my mood stabilizers gave me crippling insomnia....

the only way i can sleep is if i eat tons of sleeping pills, or drink a bottle of nyquil, or get shithammered drunk.... but if i take enough of any of the aforementioned things to make me go to sleep, i'll end up sleeping through the entire next day.

 

kind of a really shitty double edged sword.

trazadone seemed to help when i was confined to a psych ward for a week, but my doctor said he doesn't want to put me on it. sooooooo, it looks like i'll just continue to rely on a combination of alcohol and sleeping pills to do the job.

I battled with this for over a decade and still do from time to time. I'm gonna tell you straight off the bat that ALCOHOL DOES NOT HELP ANYTHING. It disturbs your sleeping habits and the quality of sleep you get if you get any at all.

 

The only thing that works for me is exercise, eating well, and clearing my head before I fall asleep. Not always the easiest things to keep up with, but they work for me.

 

Don't take sleeping pills. Try melatonin. It's not always effective, but it's natural and won't make you insane or become dependent.

forearm exercise if you dont feel like jogging

i got trouble sleeping too. well.. i can sleep, just not at night. worked pretty hard all day but still, until about 5am, sleep evades. exercise does help some. getting laid tends to help too.
