Or rather, that you can, but nobody does it. I mean, it's a beautiful place (in some spots) and all these people go from their air conditioned house to their air conditioned car to their air conditioned office. Shit sucks! I walked into the dmv with my old license and a random address that I got from a friend to establish closer residency to Mexico and had a new license that doesn't expire until I'm 65 and residency in 15 minutes. ----------------------------- Also, this law can't be constitutional. I was like shit, I need one for the flight back to the east. my in-laws told me just to use their address and get an ID that would last me until 2040. I won't have to go to the DMV until I'm 65! My spanish is passable at best and they spoke way less English than i do Spanish. They had me down to a party somewheres in SW. Couple houses, lots of people and a few drunks that didnt kno me took issue with my presence. My Mexicans came out the woodwork. Even the ones I didn't know. Quick pass of judgement & you don't have to agree. White folks I've know have shown me 1 time too many they got no heart. Blacks and Mexicans have come thru for me when it really counted. This is after white people punked out so when they stepped up for me i was amazed. I cant even say i have any white friends anymore.
