TONY MAYO
I was about nine when I saw Ren & Stimpy for the first time and it was THE biggest headfuck of my childhood. Me and my best friend didn't even laugh watching the first episode, we just sat frozen in front of the tv not knowing what the fuck was going on.. Bump this thread
Harvey Wallbanger
I was so into this show back in the day. John Kricfalusi is a style master. I've applied a lot of the things he teaches on his blog (about composition, motion, backgrounds, etc in cartooning) to other mediums. MedicineCabinet
spongebob squarepants, that show has some hilarious/brutal shots too watered down compared to ren & stimpy, but still good for some chuckles nevertheless...
King Of Hell
Yeah, there have been some shining moments in cartooning since Ren and Stimpy, but unfortunately, they are few and far between. The good list: Venture Bros. Samurai Jack Flapjack Spongebob Ed, Edd and Eddie Dexter's Lab Fosters was ALMOST good. Too cliche, not enough seriously awesome. autoteller
GEORGE LIQUOR IS BY FAR THE BEST NON-MAIN CHARACTER IN THIS SHOW, AND FOREVER MORE. END OF STORY

Frate_Raper
so the creator of this show went the same school I did many moons before me. The maintenance guy there was a huge dick, and is still gainfully employed by the college like 20 years after homie went there. He is the character with the vein in his neck screaming all the time! I was just schooled on this and then ad to meet the guy on a an unrelated topic many moons after my graduation!
twonpoo
incorrect. That's drawn after his father. He spoke about it in a speach at comic conn SanDiego. And he goes on to mimic his voice and the things he would say growing up.

Ski Mask
I fucking love Ren & Stimpy. I watched it on Muchmusic here in canada until they were forced to drop it by the CRTC because it didn't fit the programming mandate for the channel. fucking gubbermint!
