Not everything is newport beach or coto de caza expensive you can get by in other cities like santa ana or parts of fullerton. as long as you dont mind Mexicans or college kids. Job market is pretty shitty though. 2000 ain't gonna get you far as far as living or pulling bitches. But the weather is awesome. In an hour or so you could be in LA. In 2 hours or less you could be in desert, snowcapped mtns, countless beaches, or mexico. Really can't beat it. If you do move you'd be close to my area. Seriously, IOU pretty much covered all the bases, but I would add that the OC is strip malls and cookie cutter architecture literally EVERYWHERE, it has I think the highest percentage population of evangelical Christians in the US, it has Saddleback Church, THE biggest, most revolting evangelical mega church in the US, and the conservative/repressed/uppity people and culture to go along with such a fuckass institution. Riverside or anywhere more inland will be cheaper, less white, but equally as boring in my opinion. There's hella vietnamese on welfare though, if that's your thing. My experience in orange county is limited, but for very good reason. I fucking hate that place. edit: The horror that is rush hour traffic in southern california cannot be exaggerated.
