The only difference between the U.S. and Canada is that it's cheaper to kill yourself in the U.S.

Been living up here for awhile and have to say the only reason I miss living in the states is because I'm having trouble adjusting to the culture.

My father in-law traps and hunts up here and is a full on bush gangster. But I cant sit at the dinner table with him.

I meet a lot of anti American people up here that like to hold conversations. You know the ones that wont give up? Like everything is my fault.

American eh?!

Then they jump in their Ford truck and shake the spot.

Don't you get it? We're all the same people riding the same fence.

Im a big fan of this pre-existing condition deal - I have scholiosis and I couldn't get it covered without paying an arm and a leg. My only options were to go to a "pain center" and get some script for oxys or whatever. Now I'll actually be able to get some preventative orthapedics and physical therapy, as opposed to just getting a script.

have fun trying to pass this health care bill now.

'Bill McCollum, the Republican attorney general under fellow Republican Gov. Charlie Crist, told a news conference that the lawsuit would be filed once President Obama signs the health care bill into law. He said he'll be joined by his counterparts in Alabama, Nebraska, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah and Washington.'

McCollum says bill would force states to spend money, which violates 10th Amendment.

Obama’s Emboldened: Our Fight Has Just Begun

by Jon Voight

This past weekend I was proud to be part of “we the people” who came down to Washington by the thousands to voice their American rights and freedom to say “no” to what we all knew would change our great America into a socialistic America. With this Obama health care, we will now face extreme hardships in every way and Obama is now more dangerous than ever.

His ego has been fanned and he will stop at nothing to try to pass the cap-and-trade bill and he will force all union members to openly sign their votes. We must never forget this blatant and dangerous arrogance by President Obama and Speaker Pelosi and every Democrat leader that voted for this destruction of our great country.

Let us put memos everywhere to remind ourselves to vote all of these socialistic extremists out of office this coming November and thereafter.

God bless every freedom-loving citizen that took time to be part of this outcry.

May God also protect every like-minded citizen to say strong and prevail for the coming legislative onslaught.

-----they cant turn you down from pre-exisiting conditions or deny you coverage....but it doesnt stop them from raising my once $400 a month premium to $2013 a month. which leaves me no choice but to cancel and go without insurance. this isnt counting my kids $250 a month policy either.

i fall in the bracket of self employed people making too much to recieve benifits, but not yet enough to cover themselves.

the thing im not feeling is the mandatory purchase of health care, you can choose not to drive, and not have to pay for car insurance and get a drivers liscence, but this is the first thing that just for being alive you can get fined for not purchasing it, i also am not feeling the privacy aspect of it, the irs billing you and checking up on you for not having it? and all medical records and all that shit is getting put online and databased, bad for background checks or buying guns if you ever had any depression or anything like that you can bet that this wont help

on paper I think that's right but every case is different, and only time will tell how all this is actually going to be implemented.

but for the time being, this is obviously a step in the right direction. anyone who believes otherwise is a fool.

Think about it like this.

If I have an accident and need a few surgeries......$100,000 worth of surgeries

YOUR tax dollars are gonna pay for it..
