well Stotter,, if you have seen them in Michigan that would lead one to believe that they aren't just local lines. Those wheaties go everywhere for the most part. They are Canadian but not exclusive to Canada. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

 

But if you think about it, Canada is just across the border. :) Thanks for the info though. I'd like to paint these kinds of cars but they're not very common here.

All hoppers are good, they are some of the best, most underrated cars on the rails

 

I hear that a lot of them get buffed, not the canadian ones, but the average gray ones. Don't know if this is true though.

 

They are Canadian but not exclusive to Canada. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

 

I've caught these Canadian ones in different parts of california. I spotted one of those Saskatchewan grainers once, but I think it was going to home shop for repairs.
