Especially since a shit ton of the movies getting remade were unrated, or rated R but still featured ridiculous gore, violence, nudity, rape, and other shit that american movies don't show. The "cut away during violence" trend that shitty mainstream american horrors love so much pisses me off beyond belief. If i'm watching a horror movie, i want to see people getting torn apart and brutally killed, not a ton of fast edits to cover up the violence or a total cut away and some blood splatter on a wall.
