MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE! That shit was fuckin hilarious

Good looks on High Tension too, the decapitation scene is fuckin brutal. Anyway, my beef with American cinema is the shit is too watered down. High Tension was edited to drop to a R rating, same with Inside (À l'intérieur). I have not seen an ultra-violent film made by American directors in a bit. And no, saw, hostel don't count. Well Hostel can but it was created in Slovakia haha

Well said, new american horror is a joke, every remake, as well as new horror film which have been done in the past 10 year has been shit, and targerted toward 17 year old girls. High Tension could be one of the best horror films to come out in general for a minute, i mean dude gets head... from a head.

^this. I guess John Carpenter is letting some of his classics go with The Thing being remade, as well as Escape from New York. Scary, scary things are afoot.

Honey it's getting close to midnight

And all the myths are still in town

True love and lipstick on your linen

Bite the pillow make no sound

If there's some living to be done (HA)

Before your life becomes your tomb

You'd better know that I'm the one

So unchain your back door invite me around

[Chorus]

Bring your daughter, bring your daughter to the slaughter

Let her go, let her go, let her go

Honey it's getting close to daybreak

The sun is creeping in the sky

No patent remedies for heartache

Just empty words and humble pie

So get down on your knees honey

Assume an attitude

You just pray that I'll be waiting

Cos you know I'm coming soon

[Chorus]

So pick up your foolish pride, no going back

No where, no way, no place to hide
