What would you do if Russia invaded Alaska and Patrick Swayze saved your town?

My dad most of the electrical work on the sets of red dawn, because he lived in New Mexico where it was filmed.

He is going to hate this remake...as will I.

So Dan Bradley is directing this. He's a fucking nobody! He's been the stunt director on some good movies, and A.D. on some others, and 2nd A.D. on some others.

AND HE'S GOING TO MAKE THIS HIS DIRECTORIAL DEBUT?

Wow. Balls of steel.

to the question, I'm pretty sure that my appreciation of early 90's hip hop requires me to be 'ghost' in any situation even remotely featuring Patrick Swayze...

That's definitely gonna be my role in the theater when this comes out, I hate ALL of the hollywood remakes. They always fuck up the most important stuff. Just fer instance, that Book of Eli crap, way to destroy the very soul of the movie, the one question viewers could ask each other when the film was over... kudos, a satisfying meal of celery soup, rice cakes and vanilla beans waved over the top of a glass of water.... Mmm 'biblical'.

REMAKE GYMKATA

...or at least re-release it in 3D iMax

YES! I've said that before. They can remake that movie. That movie was an all-time favorite of mine from 86-88. But it is corny as fuck. If some Bourne Identity guy wants to remake that, I'm fine.
