I sent off emails with the clip attached to some of my former co-workers asking if they had a copy of the video...the guy who made it is in Germany, maybe this will get back to him and he'll put it on Youtube. And for what it's worth, Tom is one of those "I grew up around you black folks, what the FUCK went wrong with your kids" kind of guys. I still see him once or twice a year around Oakland, and he's calmed down A LOT since the late 90s- he used to disappear every so often for a couple of months, and whenever he'd pop up again he'd talk about being in jail, and "throwing some mouthy punk off the top tier that tried to climb into his bunk" and "watching his head pop like a ripe tomato when it hit the floor after it went BING BONG BING off the bars." Then he'd pull out a couple bottles of Valium and trade them for weed. In all the time I spent around him, he was never violent. Crazy, yes- he'd fuck with people and say ridiculous things to try to get a rise out of them, but even when he was flipping out I never saw him make a move on someone.
