Right, I am quoting myself from the toys thread:

Stop saying Legos like it is a fucking plural.

You sound like a bunch of fucking herbs counting each lego brick as an individual 'Lego'.

"I got 500 legos for christmas"

Damn son.

This thread title is even called Legos.

Fuck.

They are called lego bricks.

Lego is the name of the company that makes them.

But you still refer to them as a second person eg "I am playing with lego"

"I used to have loads of fun playing with lego when I was a kid"

"I built a house out of lego"

or

"I built a house out of lego bricks"

Lesson over.

Mr Correct English.

Using the word "Legos" instead of Lego bricks to talk about a multiple of them is okay. Just like "KLEENX" is used for tissues. Its determined by common use.

Legos is allowed when talking about multiple plastic bricks made by the company Lego.

No it is not.

It is an exception to the rule OKAY.

It is Danish, they don't even use esses to denote plurals in that language.
