poes
Damn, those photos of the lake look fucking tranquil. I wanna go out to Japan but I feel like if I went with my chick the language barrier would be too much and i'd end up hanging out by the shops and eating McDonalds. how hard is it to do cool stuff if you can only speak english? abcs
citrus tree flix and snow flix... north Japan vs south Japan? High elevation vs low elevation?
LUGR
you were adventurous enough to eat it which is cool. you never know unless you try. I eat foods that would defo make most of you squirm. Private onsens are the shit!! Nothing like the bow chicka wow in the traditional cedar bath and then putting on the robe for an afterglow sapporo to make you feel like a Shogun. I even surprised myself with some of the food I ate. Especially with the natto. Everybody had told me how nasty it is but I thought it tasted great. Hot springs was so chill, most comfortable futons there too. how hard is it to do cool stuff if you can only speak english? You could do plenty of cool stuff just speaking English in the larger cities. In the countryside it could get pretty confusing. But sometimes getting lost and confused can be a real eye opener. citrus tree flix and snow flix... north Japan vs south Japan? High elevation vs low elevation? The citrus trees were in Kyoto (3 hours outside of Tokyo by bullet train), the leaf in the snow was about 3 hours outside of Tokyo on a commuter train...not sure which direction. I believe it is has to do with high elevation vs. low elevation. Train back to Tokyo. Thought about getting a Texas burger. Decided to get a Freshness Burger instead. Went to Shibuya. The scramble cross walk. More Shabu-shabu. Lurkin. Jars of sake. In the train station. Maps. Breakfast at Denny's...I really just wanted eggs and bacon. Went to the department store Tokyu Hands...name made perfect sense to me. Went to sushi boat for more food. Crushed some plates. Another train. School girls. LUGR
Headed back to the Indonesian bar for my formaldehyde fix. Washed that down with some Classic. Bought $20 worth of cake & pudding. Had my ears cleaned. Went to a tempura house that brew their own sake, this was the set up. Warm Soba noodles. More win on the food front. Went with sake instead of beer. Dessert. Back in my country...fuck. That pretty much sums up the trip. Hope you all enjoyed the flicks. If you have the opportunity to travel to Japan I highly recommend it. On a side note, this was my favorite beer of the whole trip. Only had the chance to drink this one glass. What's the deal with this stuff Powerbill?
