LUGR
Took a trip to Japan and had a great time! Props to PowerBill for offering advice even though I never took advantage of the offer. Arrived in the evening and waited for the train. This made sense. This did not. Arrived in what has been described to me as the boonies. Picked these up. Woke up early and headed to the train station, nice neighborhood. JR Line confusion. Chopstick & rice skills will be put to the test. Studied this kid's technique for a moment. Waiting for the train again and again. Tokyo Subway confusion. Saw this on the walk. To this temple. Looking around. A place to wash up. Went to a fish market too late in the day to walk around and find some lunch. Fish! These tuna heads were going for $5. Something fishy going on with that price. Crabs! Starving at this point, kept walking. It was late and the day and places were closing up left and right. Stopped and enjoyed this nagiri.
LUGR
Orly? Still getting used to the money. Foreigners understanding of Japan: beer, Ichiro and tuna. But don't forget the kittehs! Back in the subway I noticed a place for pets to get water. I was told it was to wash your feet. Next stop I was shown the "golden turd" of Tokyo.....ummm OK? Went to another temple. The front gates. Walked around. Random snacks and souvenirs being sold on the walk to the main buildings. Packaging machine. The main buildings. Many people there that day. Checking things out. Headed out the gates. Hand prints of the rich & famous. Hand print of Takeshi Kitano from Takeshi's Castle aka MXC and Battle Royale.....ZOMG!! Saw this in the cut. Back in the subway...chaos. Got to Shinuku...I think. Went to an Ishikaya(sp?) to eat, drink and chill. I was served flowers on my food.
LUGR
More food. So kawaii!! Spent time in great company. Went to a building with an observation deck open until 10:30. Night time Tokyo. Real big city. Went back and caught the train back to the spot real tired. Had to be up at 3 AM to go fishing.

LUGR
Woke up at 3 AM to start the drive to go fishing. Arrived around 6:30 AM at this lake not knowing what I was fishing for? Ducks on the lake? Mt. Fuji was right there with snow on the ground so I was psyched. Ducks and swans ended up being boats. Getting used to this sign. Found my place on the boat still not knowing what was going on. My set-up....hmmmmm? Wut? Wutt? Oh well, I'll drink vending machine coffee and wait it out. Fish on! WTF!? Oh well, better start filling up my bucket. Took a break outside of the fishing cabin and noticed my boat shoes were HERA-HERA cool! View from the boat made up for the 6 hours of small fish. Back to baiting 5 mini hooks with blood worms. Fishing & Beer any country anytime. A few locals got started around 7 AM I waited until after my coffee. The guy next to me was one of those locals and he was using an electric real in 20 ft of water catching tiny fish. Swan boat in action. Zig-zag is the trail? Turns out the boat captain parked the fishing boat and went back to shore by skiff. Called him back for a pick up after 6 hours. Skiff was front heavy and leaking so people had to move to the back. At the dock these were waiting.
LUGR
Drove to a place that I was told had "many nice things". We got lost, I didn't mind. I think it says STOP!? Got to the place and it had lots of corn hung up and was very nice. Clear pools everywhere. Filled with larger fish, no fishing allowed. They had a corn mill. This powered the mill. This place was so nice this car was driven there from California. Noticed this building on the drive. Picked up some local brew. Went with the pils. Arrived at the bed & breakfast. Wut? Born Free. Log cabins. Barns. Horses? You sure this isn't Montana? They get serious with the belt buckles. LOL. Nice place, hard beds. Real cold once it got dark. Thankfully they had fire and hot springs. More later.

LUGR
^Where is that at? please tell me you got me those used panties that i wanted!? Sorry Kobe, that vending machine is a myth. no poutine in Japan? Not to my knowledge. They do have too much crepes though. Went to an all you can eat buffet Yakiniku place. Everything from cotton candy to melon soda floats. Went to a DonQ (store that has low priced everything). First Doraemon sighting. Ass pillows. First pedobear sighting. Refreshing New Style: STYLE FREE. Did not buy. The next morning the rooster crows early and the work starts. So we leave to Fujikyu Highlands. Nice views. This one was fun. This one was serious. Very serious. Golden cats. Went ice skating. Did surprisingly well since I haven't skated since '96. Place closes once it gets dark so we drove back to Tokyo. Made great time with 2 hours. Fish had been iced with snow and was over due to be gutted. Not my job. Went to eat dumplings. And ramen. Amazing food.

LUGR
Turns out the fish was to be fried as tempura for breakfast. Wasn't looking forward to it, thankfully it was not too fishy. Walked to catch the train. Empty streets. Not sure what this was about? I asked but forgot. This vending machine is not a myth. Still walking to the station. Politics as usual. Hand warmers commonly used here. Caught the train and went to stay in the city. Ate some shabu-shabu. Roamed and drank. Woke up and headed here. Watched her get interviewed. Seen this. Walked around, many people always wear surgical masks. Self explanatory. Win. Saw this. And this.
