lord_casek
BTW: you guys with adblock and noscript need to allow all the stuff that comes up for 12oz. It helps the oontz out big time and it makes sure we stay number one. Check those new ads out on the frontpage and maybe give one or two a click. Support the site you love to waste time on. lord_casek
unique and 17.47 I do not understand this, at all. Basically, it's showing you how trackable you are by websites you visit. Obviously they aren't showing all the data that can be collected by sites such as facebook, digg, etc. but it's giving you a good idea of what they can tell about you. I think what's awesome is that you guys have been following the advice of Seffiks and I and are reasonably well protected and hopefully a lot more knowledgeable about how shit on the interweb works. Decyferon
Casek I would probably be completely trackable if it wasn't for all the info you had given me on this sort of thing. Without sounding like DAO I didn't grow up with this stuff and have no clue!!

mackfatsoe
what exactly does being trackable mean, Casek? I'm guessing it quantifies how much information about me advertisers can get from my browser history? or something like that? is tracking directly related to a computer's vulnerablity to identity theft and hacking, or is tracking the less illegal, half-crook little brother of said illegal internet enterprises? sorry if these questions are stupid
