(or gas station across from Hard Rock) I usually fill up my back pack and brown bag it cause I'm a classy guy. It's totally legit to drink on the strip, casinos let you carry it in. Fuck gambling for "free drinks", they are not "free" if you are tipping and losing money on slots or whatever. We were once on our way to the lix store down the block when my buddy decided to pop into the casino bar and by us a round. $95.... Should have waited for 200 yards more. The best way to lose money in Vegas is to pay for booze in casinos/bars. However, look around for happy hours/reverse happy hours. DEE38 Posted January 26, 2010 Share Posted January 26, 2010 Whoa, what's up DEE? ;) nothin' much! how are you old friend? paying for drinks gets expensive.. the only drink i'll ever buy just for the heck of it are those margarita bongs, because they're fun and taste good. even the locals back pack their beer! my husband carries a flask at times too. whoever said hitting up happy hour is on point.. mad cheap beers and 1/2 price grub! look into PT's pub, i think you'd like it and there are like 20 here in vegas. lee's discount liquor for all your needs..... also like 20 of those around town. the bellagio has a good buffet. you can eat steak and eggs for 5 bucks after midnight at a lot of places... oxtail soup = california hotel, which is like a landmark for tourists.
