Don't wear Dodgers gear. Don't wear opposing team's colors in Boston in general. It's a different breed of fan up there.

Go get steak tips in Everett and just enjoy basking in the Masshole splendor. I had friends who did a band tour that ended in Mass. They played in Malden, and said it was the best part of the tour because of all the characters they met. The accents also made it funny for them.

stay somewhere in the prudential/back bay area. least amount of crackheads there. if you like bars, take a walk down boylston street, theres a good stretch of bars between copley square and the hynes convention center, which is a 5-10 minute walk from the pru/back bay area.

dont go to the fens at night. or the commons. the gardens at night is decently safe during the school year, just a lot of local college kids smokin pot and drinking. was one of those kids for a while, we used to push the crackheads out. moved out to kenmore area now.

if youre looking for real touristy shit to do, take a duck tour for sure. if you havent been on one or dont live in the city, its pretty cool, gives you a view of the city + cambridge and some history. the science museum is cool too, you can hop on a duck tour from there as well.

if youre going down in june, there will be a lot of stuff going on at quincy mahket, street performers, food, other entertainment. lots of bars down there too, mostly filled with tourists though. if your into really nice italian food and some other gourmet shit, head out to the north end. pick a restaurant, cant really go wrong.

if youre coming down on a friday or saturday and want to come down to a fun bar with a good crowd and cheap beer , shoot me a pm, i work the door and can get you right in.
