The balls aka Agitators used in spray paint these days are regular marble/plastic balls. So you can't use magnets True cost to make paint depends on the volume being made at the time. Ergo it is far cheaper to make 10,000 cans of a single colors vs 1,000 cans of a single color. So then it becomes the question what does it cost to make a can of good paint? $1 to $2.00 per can that's if you're doing a run of over 10,000 of the same color at a time.
