autoteller
I saw the body at the same show as R.A.M.B.O. in providence like 5 or 6 years ago, fucking DEAFENING loud. I think there's been only one or two shows in my lifetime that's been as loud as they are live
lambmeet
seen Jucifer earlier this year for Throned In Blood release and that was the loudest show i have EVER been to. It was actually a sweet show even though the album is kinda shitty.

person
Loudest band I've ever seen is My Bloody Valentine. Off the charts loud. I was going to go to the Swans reunion but my ride fell through. But I wanted to see how they stacked up against MBV in loudness. I've heard stories of audiences vomiting from the volume. Gnarly Sheen
Dinosaur JR is notoriously for being loud, but it might be a tie with Torche. I don't get playing loud... I enjoy that shit way more when I don't walk away like a 90yr old man.
Mr. Incognito
by the way, thanks to whoever posted that floor song from the first album. i have listened to that album about 10 times since yesterday, after checking out that link

HellBusRide
Fuck!I'm so bummed....So I saw a flyer the other day for a Red Fang/Kylesa/Baroness show thats supposed to go down on Saturday.Im thinkin-"fuckin A,three bands I love and its even on a weekend so I can stay out and not have to worry about a crazy hangover at work".Anyway so I'm thinkin its weird I didnt hear shit about it or see it in the paper so I look up the info.I cant really find anything and the venue says it is a private party..I remembered it was sponsored by Stumptown Coffee in Portland so I call them and ask about it,and the girl tells me its only for employees of the coffee shop and one date...according to her theres no way around this.So I did the only logical thing and asked the girl out:p .I guess she has a boyfrien.Whatever.I even turned on the charm. Fuckin bummer.its the only show theyre playing here:( I dont give a fuck,I'm gettin in to that show one way or another:mad:
HellBusRide
Its kinda lame theyre not playing for theyre fans..Im sure most of the employees could give a fuck.At least play two shows..one for each
SystemFailure
Third post about your disappointment! Took the liberty to do so.
person
Good call on asking the girl out. That's stupid that it's restricted. I would hate to be in one of those bands and play to a small crowd of people that would rather be talking to eachother than paying attention to the music. SystemFailure
How do you know they won't enjoy it? I know they won't but my point is in every vein of music the fans are so possessive hahahaha.
person
Point taken. But at least you agree. You know it was just one dude there, the boss or someone important who's birthday it was or something and had some pull with the bands and/or their booking agents. Still would be an awkward experience/environment.
SystemFailure
Oh hell yea man. I am guilty of bein just as possessive and snide I was just shootin the shit bout what I've noticed. Very. HellBusRide
Its actually a tenth anniversary thing for the stumptown coffee shops in Portland Oregon..Personally,I'm not even close to a possessive giant fan of them,I have just been listening to Baroness alot and I know it would be a badass show from all three..and will be because I will be there.I've snuck in and bullshitted my way into way crazier shit than this:p
HellBusRide
Baroness is shitty?you got your opinion I guess.Dont listen to them than.I personally didnt know there was such a hype about them, but I like alot of there stuff.Especially the ep's

I was actually listening to them earlier today... but, I gotta agree with Incognito. The Blue Album was a let down.

Mr. Incognito
noothgrush is cool, they have their moments but for the most part i played them out when i was 17 so i get sick of 'em pretty quick now. As for Baroness, everything i've heard them do besides the blue album has been good. their first LP is the best. the split they did with Unpersons is great too. but they will definitely just get poppier/shittier with each album. i could see it taking that turn with the red album, now the blue is just over the top homo ish. Gnarly Sheen
Witchfinder General sounds like Sabbath. I dig it. Sheavy also sounds a lot... maybe too much like Sabbath.
inoticedthatyourgay
if anybody likes early 80s style goth/death rock, the guitarist of noothgrush is in a new band called alaric. they rule for that genre
