Damn.

I'm blessed. My landlords, myself, and my girl are the only people who live in this building. They live below us and are really really good people. We pay $1500 a month for a 900 sq. foot 2 bedroom, with cable and hi-speed internet as part of the rent (plus heat/hot water). We've been here for 2 1/2 years now, and are about to sign for another two. I don't have to worry about them trying to burn us out.

It's crazy if that is the case in this. I know landlords love to burn abandoned buildings, but I'd never expect occupied.

@Ski Mask, I'm guessing you don't live in NY. When I had hasidic landlords last year I went for 5 months without heat in winter. After we withheld rent they got the plumber to rob us and tried to charge us 'storage costs.'

We moved out and threatened to sue then got our deposits back.

i dont understand why you figure it to be Jewish owned

when the first line of the first paragraph states it to be federally

owned. Who ever did it probably wants to buy the property.

Bad move on their part because the police will probably assume

the same. Could also be a crazy person. Schitzophrenic

As I said, I'll be interested to see who buys the property.

Knowing the neighborhood as I do, I'll be willing to bet that it is a certain constituent of hasidic landlords who pool their money together and buy any property available.

I had one of these guys roll up on me at my place. He was in a mini-van and asked me how much I pay to rent. I lied and said more than I actually pay, then he made this "Meh!" face and just drove off.
