Fist 666 Posted March 2, 2010 Share Posted March 2, 2010 saw these guys last week with new found glory. nfg played their entire self titled album from beginning to end, and also covered a gorilla biscuits song. std let me down by playing a lot of new songs on a tour in the spirit of playing old shit. and the singer was definitely putting the extra gay in his voice. and i also felt really old cause NFG dedicated their set to "all the old fans still coming out".... ...and nothing but 15 year old girls were screaming. there was probably no more than 30 people over 20 in the place. can't slow down is one of my top 5 all time albums. sucks about nfg, but thats the way it goes. i was pretty disappointed, last time i was in CO the nfg/shai hulud show was cancelled in denver due to snow or some nonsense. two of my favorites from such opposite ends of the spectrum. was hoping to see chad gilbert do some guest spots on some 'hearts once nourished...' songs. oh well.. anyhow.
