soul vice
i'm far from a professional, but i've got a nikon d60. i would probably get something cheaper until you're sure you want to do this for a career, or else you have a larger investment with little/no return
JBchit
well, i'm a lot late to this thread. level 75 if you had the chance to get a ridiculously pricey high end camera, you should take it! or the d90 like you said and get some nice lenses with that too. Guest Ginger Bread Man
im the proud owner of a d300 with which ive taken over 35,000 exposures and up to now ive had no problems what so ever with the camera. i have dropped the camera from a good 3 feet<lens fell off >and it did not break. ive shot with it while it was raining out, in dust storms and still its going strong. im sure most everyone has stated this before however it can not be stressed enough that the body is but a fraction of the equation; you should invest in a GOOD lens to compliment a killer body. a sub par lens can be the difference between a stunning picture and a dull vignetted exposure. a d90 might suite you better although id go with a smaller/cheaper body and a better/more costly lens.
