The DB crash and the explanation from Raven that followed should have jarred everyone out of their complacency and bad habits, but a week later it was business as usual. Therefore, I don't have any favorites from the past year. Praise only means something when it's deserved, and I can't think of a single thing that happened in Channel Zero that stands out in my memory prior to the crash, much less after it. In fact, I believe I had more fun hanging out with people from 12 oz in person this year than I did on the forum. The one person I do want to thank is Raven. It takes a lot finanically and logisitically to run this site...he doesn't get anywhere near the credit or respect he deserves. I hope next year is better than 2009. The past six months or so have been a little lackluster, but we've gotten rid of the people who were mainly responsible for that. And I think that 12 ounce was actually at a high point in the first several months of this year/ last several of last year. I don't remember specific threads or posts, so much as I remember having no trouble finding something to entertain me for extended periods of time last winter. It sucks that all of that stuff was lost in the crash, but I don't think most people are posting on here to create a historical document of 'lulz'-- we can always make new funny and awesome threads. There's only two things I clearly remember that happened on 12 oz in the past year. One was adamsblock, which a) I have no interest in revisiting and b) happened in 2008. The other is the crash, and that had nothing to do with Channel Zero directly. Since I'm not into other people's pointless drama, all of the arguments, trolling and bans that had nothing to do with me don't count. If you want to revel in that kind of nonsense, go right ahead....just don't expect me to participate in it or cosign it. Maybe I value my time here a little more than I ought to. If that makes me an elitist, so be it...but it's funny that people think I'm trolling when I'm being 100% on the level. Oh well...if you're fishing for compliments, I'm fresh out.
