suca
been starting to do acrylic still lifes, i guess im getting sick of never getting to 'keep' any art. we'll see how this goes... Uploaded with ImageShack.us
ShortFuse
that skull comes correct. Although the background makes it look lacking in some sense. I guess it doesnt really look like its sitting, almost floating.
suca
i know i get what your saying. IMO thats the aspect that needs the most... attention? fixing? i cant get it to look right.
hayabusa_2.0
that skull is dope i think it will bring everything together if u add shadow under the skull itself or fix the shadow... it doesnt look right i love it though looks great

viperface
I think the skull looks great with the weird flat background. Not so static like. just take a look at these http://elitechoice.org/wp-content/uploads/2007/09/bullfighting-painting.jpg http://lila.info/wp-content/0-152-chirico-ariadne.jpeg http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metaphysical_art

ShortFuse
looks good but I didnt get the fact it was a crayon till I read it. Not sure if you really wanted to the crayon to come out. Either way good stuff.

ShortFuse
I probably see the same things you might, but dude over all you put out quality work none the less. I think the back ground looks great. The right bush looks good the left one looks rushed. Something about the top right cloud bothers me but I cant really decide. The elephants themselves look good but something about them. I cant pin point whether the adult is too dark or the youth is too light. Maybe the lines are too hard and a softer look would be better, yet you seem to lean towards harder lines which would just be your style for things. Like I said though dude you put out quality. Great stuff. I need to post up here so that you all can rip me to shreads haahha. I feel bad just sitting back and critiquing.
Darkeist
top right cloud, looks a little sharp. but that shit is off the chain man. sick elephants
hayabusa_2.0
hard to get a good photo too. the light i had was coming from the top left, so it washes out the clouds there as well I think theres a lot of room for improvement with the piece, but this was one of the first "real life things" being painted that ive done so yeah onwards and upwards, thanks for the crits
armand hammer
looks good but I didnt get the fact it was a crayon till I read it. Not sure if you really wanted to the crayon to come out. Either way good stuff. top of the head should give it away, its my first time doing all this anamorphic or what ever shit and its a real test of the imagination. im enjoying it a fair bit though beats the rest of the bullshit ive had to put up with recently. thanks for the crits man ill work on it a bit more. publicenemyno.3
i have it on a purple background and it's a companion piece for a portrait of my fiancee. Gold would look dope though, maybe a black and gold frame would jump both of them off. thanks for the input man.
