Re: Motherfuckin' Surf/Garage/Psych Awesome Thread Full of Great

never heard of the incredible staggers before, but i love screaming with my garage.

right up my alley.

They are a definite find. Garage rock from Austria? But wait, it gets better.

What do you know about the Red Army Choir singing "Sweet Home Alabama?" Not garage or surf, definitely a mindfuck...I guess that could be considered psychedelic.

dead+boys+45.gif

The Dead Boys were an American punk rock band from Cleveland, Ohio. Among the first wave of early punk bands, the Dead Boys were initially active from 1976 to 1979, briefly reuniting in 1987, 2004 and 2005. The Dead Boys evolved out of the band Rocket From The Tombs and were originally called Frankenstein. When the band members relocated to New York City in July 1976, they adopted the Dead Boys moniker.

Demented+Are+Go.jpg

Demented Are Go

are a Welsh psychobilly band that was formed around 1982 in Cardiff. They were one of the earliest in the initial wave of bands to mix punk rock with rockabilly, and as a result, are considered to be highly influential to the psychobilly scene. The band often claims their name originated from the phrase "Demon teds are go!," an adaptation of the phrase "Thunderbirds are go!" from the Thunderbirds TV series, as rockabillies are known as teds and psychobilly is often associated with horror.

i cant take credit for this, i didnt find this band on my own, a good friend put me onto these dudes, he toured with them way back when, but the second i heard this song i was hooked.
