Ferris Bueller
I don't know man. I'm the kind of person that would take a Ford over a bankrupt GM vehicle. My grandfather swore by Fords, he even owned shares in the company. Then again, I've seen one too many Explorers that had serious issues. Probably because the owners just didn't really have any maintenance done at all, specifically oil changes. I'm a firm believer in the idea that getting the oil changed at recommended intervals will result in a happy engine (barring any other component failure). It has 100k mileage, though. I don't know what shape it is in, but if it is priced at $4k, I'm guessing good. I would still get a full inspection of it. And Monteros - I like Monteros. I just think service on those would be pretty expensive.
