pornbooth
So I look outside and notice a layer of ice on everything my first thought was snow, wut?, I then google my local forecast and get this Ya its cold, last year we had our worst winter in 60 years and Im looking forward to see how this winter turns out. The news channels are predicting snow within the week and I cant wait, I love that shit cause my whole city shuts down when it snows more than a couple inches....good times. Im looking forward to you winter, make it awesome please.
blood fart
I still ride my bike to and from work each day and am still wearing just a sweatshirt and thin denim jacket combo. Hopefully this winter will be mild and I won't want to shoot myself in the fucking face because I haven't seen the sun for three months and it's been constant snow and slush outside. Also, I look like a spazz when I walk on ice. Seeing as how they don't have that sort of thing in Austin, I forgot how to walk on it without busting my ass. With that said, I feel like I have done a good job about not being a complete pussy about the weather and not changing my daily habits/time spent outside like a lot of people around here have. Veritably Clean
it snowed here in boston back in september. yesterday it was 70 degrees. yea, i'm fuckin confused too
blood fart
I am in Germany. I don't really pay much attention to the weather, meaning I don't look at the predictions or a thermometer ever....but some people I work with have told me that it has been down to freezing. Eh, I just wear a bandana over my face and ride hard. It's always colder if you are just standing around than if you are doing something active. We're going back to Austin for three weeks next weekend. It will be nice to have weather in the 70s. But I have a feeling that when we return home after our vacation, it's going to be stupid cold over here and I will not be riding my bike anymore because the streets will be covered in ice. pornbooth
Veritably Clean thats perfect H1N1 breeding temperatures :D it is definitely weird when the weather pulls shit like that blood fart sounds like its definitely freezing if your already getting snow and slush, props (24d) for riding your bike in it. coming back from austin will suck for sure but it will be nice to get a break if your not enjoying the cold

MrChupacabra
Its been getting down to single digits at night a fair bit this week and we've had a little bit of snow, but i've been sick as fuck and have barely gone outside, so it's irrelevant. I don't really like winter or summer to be honest, but at least now that i live near mountains, the snow serves a purpose, as opposed to just making daily activities more of a struggle. Haha, i escaped after 5 months of living there. 21 years in Minneapolis makes me no stranger to brutal winters though. The last two were miserable. Crocodile Tears
youre nuts. snow blankest the city in a quiet white clean. even if it only last 6 hrs at most. but ill shovel all day. the snow reminds me of being a kid and i never mind shoveling, and maybe building a little fort if the conditions permit. shai
Right after I posted that I noticed that I could see my breath in my room. We're supposed to be in the middle of El Nino right now, and this is definitely not El Nino weather. I suppose it could start raining Monday and not stop till March, but I'm skeptical.
