A lot of the problem has to do with PD policy though, a taser is the same level of response as pepper spray or handcuffs - cops arent trained with the possibility that a taser can kill people, but they do all the time. Taser corp supresses all independent research and is the main reason "Excited delerium" hasnt been stricken from medical terms as a legit cause of death... theres too much money invilved in making fancy, expensively contracted, electrical stun weapons - no matter how much proof there is that they kill people all the time. Poeple who definitely didnt deserve it.
