Cymatics
whats that? a more beefed up version of a audio tracker called renoise, best 75 bucks i spent on a app, and the only one..but then again i don't like horizontal time line sequencing so this was the alternative en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renoise audio trackers is what video game music use to be made/scored in back in the 80's and 90's, nintendo atari etc... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tracker_(music_software) there's a lot of other developers out there that offer trackers for free ableton is expensive as fuck

paintfetish
Claw from Trillbass was talking to me about this. i have no interest in it, Reason 3.5 with no midi controller FTW. have fun though, and good luck getting use out of it...i have a bad track record with midi controllers...they normally sit and collect dust.
MOOGLE?
i've seen more dj's is the m-audio trigger finger with torq and turntables recently. the fact that you can do such a simple thing like right click on the part you want to assign and then just hit the button on the pad is great. but what about the latency issues ?
