Cracked Ass
I hear ya on staying off the numbers in general, but the truth is all the Golden Wests are being restamped regardless of graff or not. All the old reporting marks (GVSR, VCY) are being replaced with SP, SSW, DRGW, and other Union Pacific-owned marks. And they generally slap a big square on there to do the new marks plus the old load limits. So essentially all of the older ones are at risk. I've had a couple get chunks taken out even though I saved the numbers, simply because the reporting marks were being changed.
holy roller.
Good to know mayne. That's makes sense why they're making the squares so big, but I wish they would at least match the color of the car. A gray stamp on a blue car? It's a shame to see a lot of oldies get stamped over like that. That's life.
