R@ndomH3ro
how did they catch the shark if it was already bitten/half dead? wouldn't it sink? I am sure it was alive and the smell of the fresh kill attracted other sharks...geez people dont you guys watch animal planet? SerialSkiller
it was caught on a drum line, which means its just a bit of bait sittin in the ocean somewhere out near the shark nets attached to a buoy of some sort. obviously it had already been hooked and was half eaten by the time they went out and checked all the drum lines they had baited. thus no sign of the monster shark around. its real. if i could find the other pics you would all believe it

SerialSkiller
There were probably 2 sharks feeding on it. Shits not that rare. its really not a hard concept to understand. it takes a bite. swims a bit (maybe swallows food, susses out the dead shark some more), comes back and takes another bite. pretty simple or another CRAZY theory...there was a 2nd shark, considering sharks are atracted to blood, water splashing etc, this is also another situation that isnt very hard to fathom
srebmun
tracy t had it right, but failed to make the correct connection. There is so totally the overlooked possibility of some Chinese dude finding the bouy, pulling it up out of the water, chopping off the dorsal fin, and chopping out the gut sac, selling it, and blaming it on a bigger shark. Fuck the Chinese.

PITOFZOMBIES
hey, i'm not one of these retards coming up with conspiracy theories to explain why a shark has a fat chunk of it missing. looks pretty black and white to me...
