speaking of Mooks...

City police said their anger has reached new heights, thanks to a graffiti writer named Mook.

For three years, the unknown graffiti writer has spray-painted, or tagged, structures around Pittsburgh. Mook's most high-profile work can be seen atop the 10th Street Bridge (pictured, right).

Public Works Department officials said Mook got creative when their crews got tough and cleaned off the writing at faster rates.

A graffiti cleanup crew left their truck unattended for just minutes, and returned to find Mook's tag on one of the vehicle's windows (pictured, left).

"Whoever this is, I feel sorry for him," Public Works Director Guy Costa said. "He'll have to pay a lot of money and spend a lot of time in jail."

Costa said he can't believe Mook hasn't been hurt or killed while spray painting.
