shai
That's a shame. The school can't find private investors?

El Mamerro
People in PR expect the government to magically come up with the money for everything. Of all the shit that's been or will soon be shut down, the EAP is one of the most unfortunate. That said, we've had this coming for a long time, and have forever kept negligently choosing an unsustainable status quo (ridiculously bloated, inefficient, federally funded government) while focusing our attention on nonsense political inanities... that fairy tale has to end. People are going nuts over the blame game, throwing eggs at the governor and shit, but they're not bothering looking in the mirror. Our privatization phobia has also escalated way out of proportion. I'm as wary of corporate interests as anyone else, but seeing the numbskulls who run most of our government agencies completely fail to achieve any semblance of efficiency or positive results, I'd gladly pass on the torch to private interests. Don't know how that would work with the EAP though.

shai
I don't know anything about the place, but it seems likely that there's someone out there who would be interested in sponsoring an art school.
