shitty deal.

i feel for the pre-megadeal rappers. ie:wutang etc that paved the way but never got to cash cheques like the bling area has.

lame.

if that was me in his position i woulda set up some kinda internet pledge thing where people could donate to my cause. flip the script with some humour and generate publicity while working on a new album.

then once the $33k was met, which wouldnt take long. or even just get an advance from a/some homie(s) and/or record label drop the album and just advertise it as publicly funded.

then you could put on the inside of the album cover all the names of the people who donated.

turn a nega, into a posa. pretty fuckin easily actually.

shit, even i woulda tossed in a couple chips for mef.

marketing people marketiiing.

Wait

do the math

mef didn't file for 4 years and owes 33,000$

that's about 8300$ a year

method man only owes 8 stacks a year in legal taxes

even WITH late fines and penalties

if they tax him approx 15% of his earned yearly income, do the math

meth ain't doin too well

there's kids on here whose parents pay 10x that easy

No, no. The article said that he didn't pay any taxes through 2004 and 2007.

Not through 2004 to 2007.

See the difference?

So it would only be 2 years of tax evasion, while he paid '05 and '06.

^^^

Half of that

*EDIT: I did not read the article, nor do I care to, but I will assume that the back tax is just on one source of income.

I pay taxes on my full time job, my freelance gigs, my earnings from stocks, real estate holdings, and adsense from websites I run.

It would be easy to let some small source slide by accident.

Clifford probably did not claim income on some stupid residual checks he gets.
