If you know, you know. I love to hate me some Shannon Kringen.

Ice Nerves
I saw every Mike hunt, old school Akbar and jeff, Brody and Teina, fulfilling your fantasies (puke!!!!!).. I was glued to that shit nightly. I like where this thread is going.

forsit
I stay up on the hill quite frequently and have seen the weirdest shit.
thealmighty...
I saw some weird shit in west seattle and downtown, but capital hill was entertaining. if i could afford it and tolerate the condo dwellers, I would move back there or first hill. but Ill probably have to live somewhere up north.
forsit
I'd live on first hill before any other place in seattle. or back to the CD.
Swindle
so seattle is fun then?
BRYSO DISCO
you saw every Mike Hunt? wow.. that's an accomplishment. remember how he was always in legal battles arguing first amendment specifics and appealing just to keep his show alive a little longer.. shannon kringen makes me feel the same way as kiro newsradio.. like someone just punched me in the gut. driving long distances in an F150 that had only AM reception was like medieval torture. I never knew someone could make me dislike female nudity. she's like a fatter, nakeder version of that art school teacher in Billy Madison I saw every Mike hunt, old school Akbar and jeff, Brody and Teina, fulfilling your fantasies (puke!!!!!).. I was glued to that shit nightly. I like where this thread is going.
morton
What about Z-Rock and Solid Gold Soul? Those were good am stations that are now gone.

{OneSevenNine.com}
did you go to Mercer? we're probably related or something... we probably have more shared experiences such as eating at that little burger stand on Beacon across from what is now Seattle Supermarket. The burger stand used to be called Pal's I think.. I loved that place when I was little. also loved my neighborhood mini-marts: Young's Market & Aloha Mart. Aloha has heat lamp chicken, jojo's & corndogs. ahh... south beacon hill. there have been a few samurai incidents in seattle. there was one near Roosevelt and that guy got shot, but the guy downtown just got hosed down with water and pinned to the ground with a fire ladder (you should watch the video)... anyone remember when we hosted the fucking GOODWILL GAMES?! Pals Place used to have a yellow canopy. Next to it before it was a golf shop it was a mom and pop drug store that sold X-men comics and where I bought the first issue of Cybernary that I still have. Seattle Supermarket is the first place I saw turtles intended for consumption and where I had my first Bahn Mi. I then ate them at Fou Lee across the street. When I grew up, my dream was to drink at South China. RIP South China and the Jo Jo Lounge. Now we kicks it tough at Beacon Hill Pub and Bush Garden with all the old school Asians that went to Garfield and Franklin. They are brothas and can sing some Earth Wind and Fire like it aint nothing. I'm going to have to PM you a formal introduction since I still want to help you on your project you were talking about. And don't front, you know it is all about HIP HOP 101 Fridays on Public Access!!!!
forsit
If you old school heads have ever heard of Sergio Lacquor, that's my dad. Haha. Throwback DJ. And yes, Swindle, Seattle is fun. ...HSAMSnoytiC
ya. same up here in vancouver. if your ever lost just look for the mountains and youll know where north is. my granma taught me that as a kid as its been good advice. though i get shmangled in other cities that are flat and disoriented.
