I've driven through a few small roundabouts in the States. They help traffic flow and reduce speed. Apparently, a lot of accidents are caused by stop lights at intersections.

What's really fresh in the hairpin turns that they show in the Tour De France. Those roads look surreal.

where did the the "round about" originate? and for that matter why? we do not have them in the states. i saw a few in south america, does australia have them too?

There are rotaries in a lot of states that are similar to roundabouts, but generally more hectic. Boston is fucking full of them, and its the most ridiculous shit ever the first time you drive on one or if you aren't an aggressive driver.

To American ppl. How come on TV all teenage americans look ten years older than their apparent age? And does everyone have a gun n shoot eachother all the time, how regular is that shit? And are the street pro's all nice lookin with fake tits n nice bodies ? here they are worn down crack heads.

They use actors most of the time, real teenagers are too much of a hassle to work with.

1. Because it's TV... 'the Real Orange County' is not a good representation of what really goes on in your average American Teenager's life. Those bitches have pounds of makeup on, fake tits, and live a privileged life. I would fuck them all. KYT~!

2. It depends. I live near Oakland in California. There are shootings every night and someone gets got pretty much every day. It's just the way it is, so don't fuck with us. You could drive 15 miles down the road and be in the 'burbs though. Where things seem mostly peaceful. Guns are more American than apple pie.

3. Again, it depends. Some are, and some aren't. Most of those that walk the track are pretty grimy. Lack of teeth and webbed feet are the norm. Some of those out on the streets do look nice though. Areas in LA and Vegas specifically have the goods. If you're gonna' pay for sex though, and you want classy broads you'd use an escort service. These whores are typically well kept and clean. I've known a few 'escort' girls that were fucking DIMES. They had hella money and were well educated even.

Stop watching TV.:scrambled:

wow who knew?

well probably because i dont have a car. but the conventional round about like the Lump in the middle of a 3 to 5 to 6 way intersection is something that makes me think about driving across germany and into france. my american guilt kicked in and i said to myself... self americans are always in a hurry and no one wants to drive around a circle to get where they are going, we prefer straight lines the shortest distance between 2 points.

ps i never really visit beantown

haha drive thru windows at liquor stores crack me up, im sure it doesnt cause more drinking and driving, but it seems like it should.

rotaries arent hard to use, you just gotta get out there and get in the bitch without being a idiot, then just stay more towards the left unless your getting out, its fun to watch people get scared shitless pulling up to them.

People in lesser countries than the U.S. (Australia, European, etc.): You all got crack? Cause I need some. Seriously though, I figure you do because if someone's going to make a better way of getting high everyone is going to want it, but I don't think I've ever heard about it the way I do here. I know you all got heroin, but what's up with that crack?

Yeah, they aren't bad once you know what the hell is going on. If you're not from a city with aggressive drivers though, you have that shock to deal with when in Boston, plus said aggressive drivers in rotaries = really shook out of towners. As you said, it is kinda funny seeing some people freeze up and not even be able to get into the rotary. Unless of course you're stuck behind them.

They exist in the US. There's some in my neighborhood. But they're probably not as common as in the UK.

DC has them too. My neighborhood's street layout is based on French design, as is the city of DC.

im australian and as far as i know we dont have crack, that is cocaine mixed with baking soda or whatever. but myself and all my friends refer to crack as ice/chrystal meth. I get confused when watching cops and shit who is on meth and who is on crack in the states. Is it citys have a crack problem and the hick towns meth?

Crystal meth is a methamphetamine (does not contain any crack or cocaine in it) and as you see in Cops, is usually associated with the rednecks of America.

It is highly debated that crack cocaine has been manufactured with the intent to destroy inner-cities.
