August 21, 200915 yr and but that's when there was mad high school parties... oh, and I thought I was black.. or we all did... whatever the case.
August 21, 200915 yr Author i've always listened to rap but death metal is just something i grew out of.
August 21, 200915 yr use to listen to lots of punk and (LOL) rap music. Always listened to lots of classic rock and that won't change. Lots of metal now plus my early influences, minus nidro-babble.
August 21, 200915 yr None So Vile is rad and still in my rotation. I wouldn't call it silly. Well, not the music alone. I grew up on the classics. I gotta prop my Dad for at least given me good musical direction. Vinyl spanning from Budgie, Captain Beyond, Yes, to Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, CSN&Y, Zappa, and Cream. Cream was always my favorite childhood band. I know it sounds odd, like I was born in the 60's but that's just what was always playing in my house. I also used to listen to \m/etal music when I was a kid, still do but I had a totally different interpretation/expectation of what \m/etal was. For example I listened to Pantera, Anthrax, and Testament. Now I think said bands are pretty lame/just dont listen to them anymore. In retrospect they were gateway bands. Know my metal rotation is a bit more extreme to say the least hahaha. I think as time progressed my affinity for the next more extreme group did so as well. Some would say the more rediculous the better. I would agree hahahaha

August 21, 200915 yr Grateful Dead, Cream, The Who, Bad Brains, Fear, Television...I still listen to all of them.

August 21, 200915 yr I listened to a lot of hardcore and then realized how dumb and close-minded a lot of it is.
August 21, 200915 yr well, before i dipped into my dad's hip-hop/funk/soul collection, it was mostly being black, i needed to be slapped. but i wont front, i liked this stuff.
August 21, 200915 yr Yeah because your black you have to listen to Rap only. It's the law. i actually listen to REM, Duran Duran, and varius metal bands along with hip hop. its just that thats what my friends listened to, none of which were black.
August 21, 200915 yr Limp Bizkit? You admit to that? I'm not sure whether to prop for honesty or neg for reality. Co-Council...?
