You have pics of the Hibernia roof from a few years back?

The MSK shit? Nope, but my man GATOR hit all the rolldowns on the McAllister side. I can't find a photo of it right now, so I'll have to get a hold of him for a copy.

grew up in a fairly large east coast city and moved to sf for about a year in 05.

cost of living = death

food available for delivery = amazing, hands down the best.

(also if you wanted a fucking sandwich at 3:45am you could get one.)

weed = available everywhere

majority of the people i dealt with at work/school = snobby

(but obviously not all)

public transportation = awesome

weather = awesome

in general i missed my old spot, but sf had its moments.

Hey 50, you seen this yet?

Me and some graffiti people got 86ed from the Mint for wildin' the fuck out at someone's birthday party. I threw a basket of condoms in the air and made it rain while yelling "DICKS ARE DIRTY" over and over....then someone requested a rap song and didn't even try to do it right, they just slurred "BITCH MOTHERFUCKER BITCH BITCH PUSSY BITCH MOTHERFUCKER" over the beat.

my rent in san francisco in 1999 was $375 a month.

my rent in san francisco in 2009 is $415 a month.

i guess my cost of living would be considerably higher if i had a car, because then i would have a shit ton of tickets and i would have to pay for gas and insurance, but i dont. food here isnt anymore expensive than any other big city.

wat.

We're talking about the karaoke joint at Market and Buchanan, right?

I had a homey tell me the story behind this video just the other day.

I used to see the owner of that apartment in the beginning off polk in red wigs and plastic devil pitch forks.

I know that dude too. He's an SF legend...did you ever see the video about him? I'll try to dig it up.

I have probably only ever seen about 5 or 6 TPWF riding fixies in my life and that was recently, in Bristol you see a few TPWF skaters and emo kids but thats about it, then again I don't live there anymore and you certainly wouldn't see any of that shit where I live now.

If there is one thing I hate just as much as dudes wearng tight jeans it is people that go out in tracksuits, nike trainers and baseball caps, soverign rings and gold chains I know it is acceptable in the U.S but here they are chav scum and deserve to be shot

san francisco, portland, la, new york, chicago and probably atlanta and pittsburgh are all major hubs for american hipster culture.

but the arguments lame. i've been hearing the same thing since before 2002 or so.

although i might find some sort of way of dressing absolutely ridiculous i could really care less what some young kids are looking like. i dont have the time or energy to worry myself about some young kids and they're faux scene.

anyways, san francisco is rad. food, diversity, landscape, surrounding landscapes, parks, state parks, night life, excellent public transportation, progressive politics all add up and make me really like living here despite the living costs sometimes.

I don't even pay attention to all that scene nonsense. I've spent time hanging out in several different subcultures in SF over the past 20 years and it's all the same BS...if you're the kind of person that needs a scene to feel fulfilled or to give you a sense of identity/belonging, we're probably not going to be much more than acquaintances.

pretty sure a few people on here

go to the places i grew up in ESO.

theres more to oakland than lake merritt, or jacl london sq.

how many cats on here go to the murder dubs, or the 80's, 70's, 98th-sobrante park,

fruitvale, e7th.
