Guest 50million Posted August 18, 2009 Share Posted August 18, 2009 some people i know went to SF for their honeymoon. it's totally perfect for them. he wears tight pants and she is clearly better than everyone. they should live there and eat fois gras and talk about whatever the fuck it is interesting people talk about. if you were born in SF, I show love. if you decided to actually live there, you are most likely a douche. aside from the powerful hallucinogens and pot, i see no redeemable quality SF has to offer. the unfortunate thing is that, SF is really an amazing place. I was born across the bay (35 minutes south west...a subway ride away) and have always loved the city. A bit cold, windy and foggy - it has some great attributes. I lived there for 5 years, ages 17-22. It was amazing for me. Around 2000 is when SF got gay, and I don't mean in a faggoty way. All these hipster art fucks moved up from LA wanting to do graffiti and go to art school. I'm sure this has always happened, but I noticed a huge influx then. I was living in Oakland before 17, and I am back in Oakland after 22. SF is completely nostalgic, but definitely not worth the rent it is now. I basically grew up in the city, and I have seen some of the most incredible things there, as well as meeting incredible people. MRR was cool at one point....ya know, when you are like 15. mission records. RIP. some of the best shows around. DP. always beautiful...but always full of fuck heads now. and the mother fucking beach! food and bev: and local crab or oysters of any kind and one of the most holy of lands in all of graffiti: but yes, i must agree. it is full of TPWF, fixed gear, hipster/seensters, LA art fucks. so RIP P.C. and I am sorry for what SF has become.
