earl broclo ESQ Posted August 14, 2009 Share Posted August 14, 2009 I saw Murakami's show at the Brooklyn museum last year. I was really impressed because of the size and detail in his paintings. He has teams of people working for him, so he's more of a factory artist, but still, it was cool. So nobody has brought up the fact that Disney bought all the rights to Studio Gibli's work. Spirited away was good enough for my girl, not an anime fan, to sit through so you know he's on point. I gotta definitely check this one out. On a side note, Eureka 7 has probably been my most favorite anime series to date. September 24th, Eureka 7 the movie is gonna hit select theatres in the U.S. for a special one night showing.
