SukiSukiNow
Miyazaki's new anime Ponyo starts on Friday the 14th, I can't wait. Ponyo is a 2008 Japanese animated film by Studio Ghibli, written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki. It is Miyazaki's tenth film for Ghibli. The plot centers on a juvenile fish named Ponyo who wants to become a human girl. In pursuing her goal, she befriends a five-year-old human boy, Sōsuke. Already a box-office success in Japan, the story of a young and overeager goldfish named Ponyo (voiced by NOAH CYRUS) and her quest to become human features an outstanding roster of voice talent, including CATE BLANCHETT, MATT DAMON, TINA FEY, FRANKIE JONAS, CLORIS LEACHMAN, LIAM NEESON, LILY TOMLIN and BETTY WHITE. Some of my other Miyazaki faves:

earl broclo ESQ
When I was a kid, they used to show this all the time on HBO (when cable first came around). I used to watch it all the time, but they renamed it Warriors of the Wind. Stupid Americans! I fucking loved this movie.
`Melinoe
Spirited Away and Howls moving castle are 2 of my all time favorite movies. The animation is always so detailed. Can't express my love for hayao works/ghibli works in words. I wanna go the the museum or whatever in Japan.

`Melinoe
Uhhh. Paprika was really odd imo. Not to be off topic but if you want another good animated film, I suggest TekkonKinkreet. It's not miyazaki/ghibli but it's pretty amazing.

The movie is fucking adorable though. Wish i kept up with japanese. I remember someone sent my family totoro and kiki. we watched it religiously. MAR
I don't really watch anime movies, but Paprika was good. I'm more of a Katsuhiro Otomo fan though. I watch a lot of their running shows. Currently I'm watching Bakemonogatari, it's really good so far.
