I also got a chance to visit Copenhagen made a stop at the detroit airport 8 hour flights would not be the same without in-flight entertainment arrived at Gothenburg, Sweden. (it's the 2nd largest city in Sweden after Stockholm) celebrating Midsummar (summer solstice) with the girl's fam. D0WN Posted August 1, 2009 Author Share Posted August 1, 2009 i'd say that they get treated much the same way any white guys get treated except some girls might think black/hispanic/asian/middle eastern guys are more exotic or disgusting depending on the girl. some girls have a fetish for that but not all. countries like sweden and norway are largely mono-ethnic (comprised of majority whites) compared to america or canada. this was a pretty big shock for me when I first arrived in sweden 2 1/2 years ago. when i got off at the train station in gothenburg, i looked around and realized that i was literally the only person there who wasn't white. there were thousands of people around but I stuck out like a rare pokemon. a lot of the times, for me at least, being asian, has worked to my advantage when it came to girls. as long as you don't look like you just hopped off a boat from some third world country, you'll be fine. that said, keep in mind that scandinavians, in general, have a better fashion sense and dress much better than the typical american. so you best be up to date with that. also... most young folks like practicing english with native english speakers and most scandinavians speak it almost fluently. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
