well making tallbikes isn't new, but riding/commuting on them daily would be great.

 

We had a few at my old house that the neighbor built from frames out of our scrap heap. I rode them once in a while, but the welds were shady so I was always expecting them to crumble beneath me.

 

My friend Sam builds some of the nicest tall bikes I've ever seen. He matches the frames and everything up and adds some pretty cool reinforcements that make the ride a lot more stable.

 

I wouldn't commute on one, though. I'd rather have a cargo bike or something useful.

Every kid I went to junior high with wanted that bike. Personally I think it's butt ugly.

 

I agree on that one being ugly, I didn't like the mags.

Mine was newer and was chrome and had spokes on it.

Looked like this.
