Went to Ray's MTB Cleveland from 9:30AM-2:00 PM with my son today . We both used rental bikes , which were pretty much brand new . Mine was a 20" 2010 MirraCo. No.7 & Evan's was a 2009 Mirraco. Black Pearl 18" . I had a blast and he gained so much confidence and had a lot of fun . I met people from all over the country & world, a crazy punk-rock dude from Osaka , Japan , a Father and son from Germany and 2 hot chicks from New Zealand . Very cool upgrade to the place , as it has major sponsor $$$ furnishing the entire layout .

You need to pull it apart, put it in two boxes (wheels/small parts - f/f) and head to your local post office. I'll PM you my address.

Thanks in advacne and have a great day.

So this young dude I work with (19 ) , told me he has this complete " old " chrome GT that weighs next to nothing and I can have it . He doesn't ride BMX and it's taking up space for his hunting gear , lol . Now if it's a GT Mach One I will freak the fuck out . Pics of it tomorrow , either way a free GT I could clean up and ride is rad .

@ Brickos , good stuff these early DB's are extremely light, make sure you put the Araya sealed bearings rims on it to make it official...

@ CELT, those GT Mach Ones were off the hook, I had one back in 93 and I wound up trading it for a GT Interceptor which was a dope bike as well. One bike I always wanted that I never got was a DynoSlammer, I might have to hit ebay up one of these days for it.

Shitty cell phone flick, I'll take a proper one tomorrow!

Parts-

Frame- Volume 781

Fork- Odyssey dirt

Stem- Fly potencia

Bars- Fly tierra

Seat- Odyssey impact post, aitken seat

Cranks- Stolen team, raw, redline platform pedals that came on my mtb

Back wheel- Primo mix 9t, sun rhyno lite xl, odyssey spokes

Front wheel- g-sport marmoset laced to a rhyno lite xl with odyssey spokes

Brakes- tektro calipers, odyssey lever, odyssey slic cable

Of course as soon as it's done it gets all shitty and rainy, but I'm stoked to maybe ride the indoor park and some trails when it gets dry!

Does flatland even excist anymore...

Man i always loved doing/watching flatland as a kid, you don't see anybody doing stuff like that these days.

quite a few European kids have been bitching about Ride UK not having flat coverage anymore, i remember little bits here and in RideUK there back a few years ago, and some Dig's having blips about flat.

I started riding flat and my older brother's coping-less 3ft quarter, flat has always been a small interest of mine...

here are some of my old favorites...

Leo Dumlao @ 9:12 great crossover street/flat part

(kris bennet right after was sweet too)

Sean @ 23:50 (especially the line @ 25:55)

kerry gatt @ 13:57

(and ralph @ 30:25 rolling a blunt)

all of Neighborhood Superhero's was the shit

Glenn PP @ 9:36

George D @ 38:11

Luc E and Butcher ender starting @44:43
