Paul's Boutique is my favorite album of all time, in any genre. They influenced my life more than any other band by a mile. BB & De La Soul are my two favorite groups ever, at any given moment, you can find 50+ of each groups songs on my MP3 devices. BB never fell out of style with me, and never will; I hope my kids learn to enjoy them the way I do. Unless they pull a Tupac, it sucks to know they'll never drop another track. I was fortunate enough to see them twice when they toured for check your head and Ill communication respectively. When i was in the 6th grade my friend saw them when they promoted license to ill, my folks didnt let me. Never got into anything after Ill communication. RIP. I carried that tape around with me for at least a year straight. I didn't even have a cassette player, I'd just mooch off people who did and beg them to play my Beastie Boys tape. /yes old even as a younger generation 90's kid, Licensed to ill the CD was played probably every week in my childhood.
